Nicole Wysokikamien: is a Uruguayan dance artist and researcher based in Berlin. She graduated from the Contemporary Dance Division at Uruguay’s National Dance School and holds a BA in Literature (Instituto de Profesores Artigas), a Diploma in Theory, Criticism, and Analysis of Contemporary Performing Arts (Universidad de Chile), and an MA in Solo/Dance/Authorship from HZT Berlin (Universität der Künste), supported by a DAAD fellowship between 2022 and 2024.
Her artistic and research practice explores the relationship between choreography, text, and performance, with a focus on intimacy, the literal, and autobiographical materials, paying special attention to how humor interrupts or reframes these registers.
